Juvenile Assessment and Treatment Center, LLC provides individualized and comprehensive outpatient assessment and treatment for youth with sexual acting out issues designed to improve the mental health and stability of youth and families and to assist them to function successfully in the community.

Get to Know Us a Bit Better
Juvenile Assessment and Treatment Center, LLC, was founded in November, 2003, by owner/director, Lorrie Burns, MSW, LCSW, ATSAF. Lorrie holds twenty-eight years of experience providing outpatient assessment and treatment for juveniles who have engaged in sexual acting out behavior and their families.
OUR SERVICES
Juvenile Assessment and Treatment Center, LLC specializes in a wide range of outpatient assessment and therapy services to provide individualized treatment for youth and their families.
PSYCHOSEXUAL ASSESSMENTS
Psychosexual Assessments provide recommendations regarding overall level of risk and protective factors, placement, reunification, community supervision, and treatment
JUVENILE SEXUAL OFFENDER TREATMENT
Juvenile Sexual Offender Treatment provides individualized therapy services specific to the risk issues and treatment needs of each individual client and family. Juvenile Assessment and Treatment Center, LLC provides individualized and comprehensive treatment for juveniles and young adults ages 10-21. Services include:​

Intake risk assessment using the ERASOR, SAPROF-YV, and PCL:YV (as needed)
Weekly individual therapy
Bimonthly or as needed family/caregiver therapy/support
Six month risk assessment/treatment goal reviews
Attendance at monthly provider and team meetings
Court reports/testimony
JUVENILE SEXUAL OFFENDERÂ PREVENTION/AFTERCARE TREATMENT
Bimonthly or as needed individual therapy
Bimonthly or as needed family/caregiver therapy/support
Intake risk assessment using JSOAP II, ERASOR, PCL:YV
Six month risk assessment reviews
Monthly team meetings
Court reports/testimony
JUVENILE SEXUAL ABUSE/TRAUMA THERAPY
Treatment services for clients addressing issues with past sexual abuse/trauma include:
Weekly individual therapy
Family/caregiver support as needed
Quarterly treatment progress reviews
Attendance at monthly team/provider meetings
Reunification recommendations
PROFESSIONAL TRAINING/CONSULATION
Juvenile Assessment and Treatment Center, LLC provides professional training and consultation regarding a myriad of issues regarding juveniles with sexual acting out issues including:
Assessment of juveniles with sexual acting out issues
Mitigation of risk factors and assessment of protective factors for juveniles with sexual acting out issues
Community supervision of juveniles with sexual acting out issues
Reunification in cases of Intrafamilial sexual abuse
Identification of normative versus problematic behavior in juveniles
